That's heck of nice boat Salt. Sorry you've got to sell. My wife lost her job and I had to sell mine last year. Luckily I made money on the deal.
I've decided to hold off on buying another until I retire and move to the coast. It's too costly to drag it down there and use it so little. It's a lot more cost effective to charter a trip when I go.
I know there's pros and cons to the different hull designs but I much prefer an open fisherman to a walk-around and I prefer the ride of a catamaran to a mono v-hull.

Thanks. I prefer the ride of a cat myself and really like the Glacier Bays with a 150 at each corner. Being able to spin circles is nice for tight marinas. While drift fishing or for confused seas I prefer the deep V. For fishing in Texas I prefer an open boat also but I bought the Striper while in Oregon. Open boats are just too cold and wet there and we camped on ours a few times while exploring different areas. The San Juan Islands have little to no services and that's a beautiful place to explore and fish.
