I am bringing my dad with me, and he is somewhat novice. I just taught him to use a baitcast last year on a trip to Ivie. As far as method, soft plastics, flipping jigs or C-rig would be fine for us. We would prefer middle of the week, as I am sure weekends fill up quick. PB - 11.4lbs - OH Ivie
