Ladies are you telling me that you have never had your keys in your hand or your sunglasses on your head wondering where you put them? If not I guess I lost that gene somewhere between here and stressville. In fact it was last week or so, we were in the boat and I told my boyfriend that I lost my sunglasses somewhere, he was to busy driving but just looked up on top of my head and gave me a look like I had lost my last brain cell. Am I the only one that has put something in what you think would be an obvious place (so you don't lose it) and then when you need it, just sit there wondering where you put it? Or go to the store and wonder what you went there for? Oh, I must tell you I had an interview about 7 years ago, I took that extra time (1 hr instead of 25 min) to get ready. And when I got to the office and stepped passed a mirror, I realized I forgot to put on mascara on one eye. It wouldn't be that bad but I forgot eyeliner too and I have white eye lashes. The whole interview I thought "she" was staring at my one undone eye. That same interview, I locked my keys in my car, with the motor running. I know that we all have stories to tell, come on tell all!
Is it beginners luck or a great teacher!

beginners luck, I have to admit and I am old enough that I resemble those remarks. Just a few weeks ago I was stressed, trying to get out of the house and get going, and I could not find my keys. I looked down and they were in my hand. I shook my head, rolled my eyes and headed out the door.
I have lost my sunglasses on the top of my head as well, but I have not lost my glasses while they were sitting on my nose like hubby did a couple of months ago. That one was not funny though. I had serious thoughts of taking him to get checked because I thought he might be having an event with his vision.

My husband has an obbsessive compulsion disorder!!! Really!!! going into a store and uses his debit card. Puts it back into his wallet. Checks in 20 seconds to make sure it is there... Clerk printing out receipt, he checks again.. yep still there, right where he put it... signs the slip of paper, folds it up and puts in wallet. checks again to make sure card didn't vaporize. again still there... makes it out to the log truck and climbs in, sits all his stuff he just bought down and you guessed it, he pulls out his wallet and makes sure he has his bank card. puts his wallet back in his pocket, and starts driving down the road... gets about 5 miles and a feeling comes over him, and checks his wallet once again. He does this with his truck key and the diesel pump key. However, I have had to buy 3 new door knobs for our house because he has lost the key to the back door!!!! What gives??? Can someone explain this to me? How he can be so sure and check 40 times on one thing but not something else?? lol thats all I can do. Is just laugh as I go to wal-mart and buy yet another knob. This time I think I will buy 2 so I won't have to make another trip in a few months just for a knob.!!
If at first you don't succeed, give up and go fishin'.
