I went to the storagr lot last night to pick up our camping trailer and saw this boat parked next door. The guy had 15 rods and reels sitting on his deck all ready for some unsavory character to help themselves. I was going to put them down inside the boat for better camoflauge, but thought better of it. Did not want to be the guy picking up the stuff if he happened to return. Lot was deserted, and there are is no surveilance cameras.

What an idiot.....i freak out if I have to go in a gas station with my rods in the back of my truck!!! I'm not even satisfied with the big lock box I have at the dock....I took it there by boat so it can leave there in someone elses boat just as easy. My stuff still ends up missing all the time though...can't figure it out.

As Jeff Foxworthy would say "Here's Your Sign !" Whoever left the rods just laying there is either really stupid or has them all insured real good and wants them stolen to buy new rods !

He also managed to leave his Lowrance still hooked up, and out on the deck. Hopefully, he just had to run down the street for a pit stop, or that stuff is sure to be missing by the time he picks up the boat next.

they look like shimano's, i dont think he has anything to worry about. would you expect anything less from what appears to be a skeeter owner?

Simply amazing... I always do my final walk around the boat at least a dozen times making sure I got everything secure, and what is going back in the house is put up. I even extended my fence out and around the boat so it is protected, and let my 90 pound lab have full access to the area.... Wonder if we will see a post asking if we have seen any of this equipment at a pawn shop.....

Quit wishin and start fishin ......

Next time grab it and leave a note telling him how concerned you were that his stuff would get stolen.....if he doesn't call....kudos for you!
Probably a very bad idea but at least another fisherman would get it instead of slime that would sell it for $.10 on the dollar.

No true fisherman, not even a Skeeterboater, would leave their arsenal sitting in an unorganized heap like that. Im a bettin you showed up just as a thief was about to grab that bundle and go. Probably hiding real close by and just a waitin for you to leave. Pity.

Probably the saddest thing you will ever see is a mosquito sucking on a mummy, Forget it little friend!! :-(

My month---
Last week we stopped at a park in Richardson, with in 20 min someone has smashed a window and grabbed my wifes purse(Which she normally would have locked in the trunk) we lost about $900.00 in cash and other things, we had $1,000.00 decuctable, oh well!!

Today we left to go to the store, 15 min later we were driving into our driveway, and our Pick up was exiting the garage--Stopped in front of it and jumped out--a complete stranger was sitting there looking at me, we DETAINEED him until the police came, seems he slipped into our open garage, went into the house and found the keys, nothing else taken from the house---Damnd Thieves !!!!!
