From the Nails Creek Park boat ramp head west across the flat and up into Nails and Yegua creek. The lake is probably just high enough to kayak up to the mouth of each of these creeks. Nails is the easiest to find on the south shore and Yegua is a good bit further up and harder to spot on the north shore.

look at this video, towards the end I hike up to the high ridge that overlooks the upper end and I show where the Yegua comes in..

Just Google Nails Creek State Park , once you get there all three creeks are near that park and they can give you directions.

I was told the boat ramps were still closed as of Thursday. Does anyone know if Birch Creek ramp is open yet?

I just called and everything at Birch Creek is open. I'm heading up the creek in a kayak tomorrow to hit the whitebass.
