I don't understand why there were so many people denying it?

I have never seen him roaming around but i know what your saying when it comes to those Gar... HUGE

Not denying the existence of gators in eagle mountain. Just denying the authenticity of that photo.

Don't doubt there are gators in the lake. I have the population in the red river explode over the last few years. I would think that they are a lot more popping up in Texas lakes as well. Its just hard to believe that alligators are out cruising around in February in the Dallas area.

silly lsnnie, its common knowledge that gators cant survive in lake worth, there is nothing to eat with the fish consumption advisory bestowed upon that mudhole.

I'm not saying that there aren't gators in that lake, but that particular photo is the most photoshopped looking real photo in existence if it isn't.

Not only am i a fisherman but also a wildlife photographer as well, and i have been doing wildlife photography since i gt a new nikon em for christmas in 1982 iirc.

Reflections and water ripples can do strange things, but that one just doesn't look right at all, i've seen all kinds of weird effects happen when the light hits the water just right but i've never seen it snudge the image like photoshopping does

My guess is that the picture was taken on a different part of the lake and the gator was added to the image by the boats.

As soon as I saw it I said photoshop. The resolution looks different between the gator and the water.

During drought years like we had last year, those gators will travel a long way to find new water, how far? I have no idea but am guessing a mile or more.

There are a lot more gators in Texas than people think, a LONG way from the coast. If someone from Henderson County will chime in here they can tell you about all the gators in ponds down around Athens. College roommate was from a ranch south of Athens on 19, had to show me all the gators for me to believe it, over 20 years ago.

This is clearly a plot by BassAddict to lower the value of the Legends at Eagle Mountain Lake, in hopes of buying it from the current owners at a below market value. By enciting fear they would have to sell, but if it hadn't been for that medelsome Fish N Cynic, he might have got away with it
