It is a Table Rock spoonbill. I saw 7 of them the other day at the confluence of the James River and Flat Creek.

Bought a 2006 Triton TR186 last summer and recently switched out the old X135 graph in the dash with a LMS 522igps. Worked great for several weeks and then started losing sonar while GPS and mapping still worked. Starting digging into the issue and also thinking about putting a HDS 5 or 7 on the bow to network with the 522 but found some odd things. By the way, my TR186 has a NMEA network built in.

At the bow I have an old Eagle FishFinder2 which I plan to replace but I wanted to see how it was connected and if it was connected to the network. Transducer was connected as to the trolling motor as expected and the power cord had only the + and - connected and the other 3 wires were cut and taped off. I did find part of the network cable ends with caps (see pics). photobucket

In the hull it appeared that I have 2 shoot through Transducers. One being a HST-WSBL Skimmer and the other being a Pod transducer PD-WBL. Since I was having issues with Sonar I decided to see how the transducer was wired. It was connected to the Skimmer and not the Pod. Connecting the Pod makes the Sonar work again.

At the dash, I found so many NMEA cables that I am really confused. I have 2 transducers, 1 power line, and about 4 other connectors that I assume go somewhere to the NMEA network and obviously the bow too and maybe the water temp lead going to the transom area. The built in network has a power on/off switch on the same panel with the ignition switch. Photobucket

I've got two graphs that work now but I'd like to upgrade the bow graph and be able network these together. I read all the links in this forum topic but outside of taking all the NMEA wiring completely out I am not sure where to go. Am I missing something or is there something that explains or tells me what goes where? Appreciate any help or thoughts.

I wonder if apples and oranges are being mixed here. The Elite 5 screenshots I've seen have nowhere near the detail of HDS "Downscan." Does it come with an oversize transducer and module like the HDS units?

Don't know about the Elite 5, but my MK Riptide causes serious interference with the "Downscan" functions of my HDS 7, even though they're not connected to the same battery. The interference somehow runs through the onboard charger wiring connecting the batteries.

Not sure your question is in English? If you can reword it somebody might be able to help you.

The lss1 and the hds7 is not communicating. The manual stating that the yellow light supposed to be blinking for it to link. But right now I have a green blinking light.

Ah got ya now! Did you connect the yellow wire from the HDS to the yellow wire on the LSS1? They must be connected for the HDS to "wake up" the LSS1. Let me know.

No. I connected the yellow to the red power and straight to the battery.
