I've thought about this myself. Don't know where the $500 amount came form. Here's there prices from the website.
AFG Rates Fish Hunt Combo Group of 5 or more $199 $299 $499 Individual $295 $395 $550 Family $395 $495 $750 Youth Angler $125 $225 $300 Student $250 $350 $500 Over 62 $250 $350 $500
if you get a group together its only $200 a piece
Another reason I enjoy sunnies, they're pretty

Prices were stated fairly clearly however I did quote the dual military rate for hunting and fishing and that cost was 500 for both.

Brad,
Good info on the "$500". Thanks. Did they offer a fishing only option?

Meadowlark,
Follow the link on the 1st page and look up all the prices, they do offer a fishing or hunting only option and it runs about half the combo price.

It's only $295 for fishing and $150 a year after that. Half day cost is $25 and full day is $45. I may take them up on their trial deal just to see what the water looks like.

I went out on one of their "trial" deals yesterday. When to the WR Ranch in Flower Mound. Stated to be one of their favorite lakes.
I spent the day, a very hot day indeed, and got one bass, appx 1 1/2 lbs and this was by luck only. I snagged it. There were some nice crappies but that was about it. The water temp was 90 to 91 degrees. That could explain the lack of bass. They had to have been on vacation. The deepest part of the lake is 18 feet. Most was 8 to 11 feet and the north 1/3 is 2 to 4 feet.
Nice and quiet pond. Loved the area and in the spring should be fun for cathing fish too.
Look! Up in the sky. It's a bird. It's a plane. No, it's an EMP!

I email this club yesterday: Members of the Club pay an annual fee and day rates. The annual fee for an individual member is $295 for the first year and only $150 to renew every year after. We have over 150 lakes in Texas and Oklahoma for available for Club use. Day rates on average are $25 per person for 1/2 day fishing and $45 per person for a whole day fishing. Half days are from Dawn to noon or noon to dark. All day is from dawn to dark. You can bring nonmember guests. They will pay the club day rates and a $12.50 guest fee. We can send you an information packet if you would like. Just send us your mailing address and we will get one to you. You can also call the office to speak to one of us directly @ (888) 303-4822.
