armadillo joe TFF Guru Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 15,647 Lake Fork	I have 7 Kistler Z-Bones and 3 Ducketts I definately prefer my Z-Bones but I had a soldier out fishing one day and when we came in we got to talking to a Duckett pro staffer. Ended up he gave each of us a rod and I liked it well enough to buy 2 more for the more inexperienced troops I take out. They are an excellent rod and are priced right a lot of rod for the money.

BIGDOG1956 Pro Angler B Joined: Aug 2008 Posts: 945	I ues a tripple surgen knot to tie 20-25 floro leader to 65 pound braid. This is a huge knot but it has never slipped. I have some of the new MAGNUM MICRO rods, this Knot work well with these guides. Are you using leader with your braid? One you build and fish with your own hand built custom rod you will fish with nothing else!
