I honestly cannot catch a limit of fish on that lake in the last 10 trips!!! I am at a loss. my experience in fishing it in the winter is that it fishes very differently than any other time. The fish don't leave the lake or stop eating...they just relate to some things they normally don't during other times. I have been fortunate to have someone show me a few things that work in the cold months. Hopefully those will work in 2 weeks in Champs and my partner and I can hold up the same trophy you did last year.

Had a message on FB today from a buddy out there, pretty honest fella... he was fishing solo and said he lost one at the boat that he thought may have been a SAL. Mabey this will be the year Ray Bob gets put back on the map.
