Here's a letter that went out to the residents at one of the properties out there.

I know I'll get chicken fried on here for this but....
Eagle Mountain is way too much a recreational lake to have large gators swimming in it. And if someone is feeding it, it will lose its fear of man and that ain't good....
LOTS of kids/people swimming and splashing around in the warmer months. Plus, on the lower end where that gator was spotted is surrounded by homes and boathouses with families, children, pets, etc. That gator needs to be trapped and relocated somewhere safer for it and the general public before it hurts someone and then a local shoreline resident will dispatch it to "gator heaven".

I agree if it's on the South end it needs to be moved for everyones sake including the gator!!!! My guess is it came from Lake Worth and needs a ride home....

I am not sure but I think that pic is from habor one area. They moved alot of boats in there before the lake came back up and still havent moved them all back to boat club. Guess this means no more floating around in the tube in the summer with a bucket of chicken and six pack on my chest.

Come down to the coast(Chocolate Bayou, Bay) with me, I could show you places that you would swear that you were in Louisiana, or Florida.....

I'm going to have to get a .22 pistol to keep on the boat. The problem is that I doubt I could hit that dime-sized spot on their head like RJ and Jay Paul. It's probably because Ihaven't grown me a sweet braided pony tail. Seriously, did you see Troy jump that levee? Freakin' awesome. There is a place on Ray Roberts where I'd like to try that.

I promise you this Chris...IF that gator hurts someone at Eagle Mountain, he won't be around very long. And it won't be by my hands as I live 2 blocks from Eagle Mtn.and hardly ever fish it.
But I know how the rich shoreline homeowners at Eagle Mtn. are and they will not put up with an alligator swimming in "their" lake and putting their kids/pets etc. in danger of being challenged by it. Heck, they don't even like bass anglers fishing in their sailboat club area and they DANG sure ain't gonna let some gator scare the wife and kids. You can bet on that.

I dont doubt there are gators in Eagle mountain, but that looks photo shopped. Something didnt look right so i zoomed in on my phone and its blurry only around the gator except where the water is touching the gator. It just looks off.

I lived on Eagle mtn for a few yrs. If someone's concern is getting eatin by a gator . Thats funny! I bet they get killed by a ski boat first. Thats why I moved to fork (less idiots more big fish!). But that being said alot more beauiful ladies on the Big E!
