I have these lights if anyone is interested call me. I can professionally install them on the sides of your boat starting at $200. If you get lights inside and outside of the boat its a little more. I can make them state of the art and they will light up any color... I can sell 16 FOOT of lights for $50. That is 16 1 foot pieces you can wire up all over your boat if you want to. Please call for more info or to set up an appointment to have your lights installed. Also, I come to you, you dont have to take your boat somewhere and leave it, and installation is done in a few hours...

I have had red and blue leds inside my CC and white on the trailer for several years. Looks like now I need the green ones on the outside for night fishing. That will be my next project. Thanks for sharing.   Jim

You shouldn't need an extra battery to run LED's on a boat. I ran some pretty lengthy strips of led lights just like these on one of my hog feeders for 5 days with a single 9V battery with them running 24 hours a day.

I order them from the best suppliers on ebay... I do Car audio, video, Car Electronics so I get a really good deal and I try to order my products from the best suppliers that I have experience with.

 If you are fishing by yourself I would recommend using the lights in a target area, like only having them on on 1 side of the boat. with the lights on on both sides I am always worried that all the fish are on the other side...

not a good pix, off my phone. Green both sides and amber down roof line. I used to run the green flaoting lights up top for light on the topside to re tie and such, they do draw bugs, so I tried the amber. Other night when we were out I turned on the green topsides and the bugs came in bad. so I switched on the amber and the bugs went straight to the green on the water lights.
