I noticed JR Howard on the roster for the Ivie tournament. Isn't he a guide on Ivie. If I read the rules correctly he must have fished the previous tournament in the division to be eligible to fish.

If he hasn't guided in 60 days on the lake then he can fish.Yes it is an advantage but don't you want to know how you stack up against the lakes best?So what if he knows the lake like the back of his hand?You can say that about someone on any particular lake.I for one look forward to the challenge!

I figured this was coming...theres always one...This one even had to join and make up a screen name to post something! lol

I have only been on the lake a handfull of times since my surgeries last fall. There are guys on that last with many more days on the water than me over the past couple months.

I am eligible to fish under the rules of mediabass. If the tourney director doesnt want me to fish then I wont.

I guess I could fish with one arm tied behind my back if that would satisfy some folks!

I did hear that they were giving participation ribbons to everyone that enters so that should please some

I will show up and have a good time with many of my friends that fish them. Might catch a few and we may not but we will have a good time. The texts I have received because of this post have been hilarious...keep them up!

I will be in my regular boat and wont switch up boats this time so I will be easy to follow/find if thats what your into.

The way Ivie is fishing right now it us against the fish.

I fished our club tourney at ivie last weekend. I found (got lucky) one area with fish biting. I had 2 overs and caught several around 17" for a little over 13#. Not a big sack but was proud to have it. Good luck to all of you this weekend.
