Guys like you make me laugh...

Dude what do you expect, you show a picture of an amazing fish that's on "Very Private Property" why even post it? Way to rub it in to the people that aren't allowed to fish it. Guys like you make me feel lucky I'm not like them. Have a good evening

Nora Haney Park is a Stonebridge Ranch HOA park. I've never seen a lady security patrol.

There's even parking there. It must not be very private property if there's a parking lot. More like a public park. Just a guy that wants the fishing hole all to himself. I understand that aspect of it

There's a sign that says stonebridge residents only. Thus the reason for my asking. They only stock the ponds on that residential neighborhood. I didn't think they would put a sign up if they didn't stock it.

There are multiple signs at Nora Haney that indicate it is private property. Don't be such a dunce. You insist on breaking the law and then have the ignorance to call out a due paying resident of the HOA. Ive don't know "Stax" but I'm pretty confident that he is a Stonebridge resident, judging by the ponds he chooses to fish. Anyhow have fun at Nora Haney.

I did it before they changed their policy and it was ok as long as you knew somebody who lived there. Since they changed it, I haven't been back without my brother worth who does live their. I'm not breaking any rules. I was asking because my brother knows I catch more bass than he does and since I''ve never fished there because of the rules, I was wanting to see if anybody that lives caught anything worthwhile HIM AND myself to check it out. I don't like breaking the rules and I always try and follow them and uphold them. I'm not going without him present which is ok since they allow one guest to be with the resident. I know the rules. I've actually stopped and asked security while going to visit my brother and not to fish so I can stay up on them. I'm doing everythingi can to stay on the up and up.

BINGO!...I pay $800 a year to use and fish these lakes, one of the main reason I moved here...DB like above that wanna talk chit cuz we catch them and post them, and them bash the fact that we fish them are a joke. I will take his picture and make sure every security guard knows who he is and then call me when they catch him.

Bottom line...Why should I have to pay to fish it, and be ok with with you sneaking in for free!?!?! rolleyes

Stax... I agree with you. If I was paying for the right to fish in an area, I really don't want non-paying people in there. The only way I go now is with my brother. I will not go with out him. That's why it's been so long since I've fished over there. I was wanting to know because my brother has not fished but a few of the ponds in that area and he doesn't have the time to go out and test each one to see what bites because he has 2 kids. I was asking more on his behalf. I appreciate the info that have you provided me. I mean no disrespect but any info on these locations would be greatly helpful to him. If you would rather PM me with the info, I welcome it. I will even send you my picture so that if you see me there and nobody else, you can confront me with ease. Then you will know who I am and maybe join my brother and I fishing. I want him to have a good time. I could care less if I catch but one. It's him that I want to catch a bunch or a few bigger ones.

Its the guys that have the "Screw the rules", "Buck the system" , they have a parking lot so it must be for me!?!?! OMG rolleyes that I have ZERO interest in hearing from our ever helping!

I look forward to hearing from you, we will go fishing in SB soon!

Tight Lines,
Stax

Thanks Stax. I'll have to take you up on that offer.

Rev TFC - You said that not all the ponds in that area are HOA controlled or private. Would you mind sharing that info with me? You can PM me if you would like.

Hey, yall. I'm new to the forum, but I have fished this pond quite a bit. I've seen and talked to 2 different security guards, and they will ask for ID to verify if you're a resident. The shorter security guard has asked me for my ID 10 different times in the past 2 years. Dont really care for him too much. I dont see what the big deal is about fishing these ponds, as long as you're not trashing up the place. I've caught several nice bass out of there, mostly on watermelon/red senkos, but also used cranks and jerk baits. There's a smaller pond a little further north, and I've never seen security there. Caught lots of smaller bass out of that one using the same lures. Also talked to a few people that catch bass on chunks of hotdog of all things. Never seen a bass hit a hotdog before. I've been to a lot better ponds in other places, but these aint too bad, and definitely worth your time when you have an hour or two.

Wes. I didn't think it was a big deal either until I realized how much it costs for a homeowner in that area for the right to fish there. I know a few people that live in that community and it's not a cheap privledge. I'm sure that it is very tempting to go fish these ponds, but you have to stop and think. It's the homeowners that are paying their HOA fee's that are paying for those big bass and fish to be in there. I'm a catch and release guy too, but that doesn't mean I should go fish where others people are paying for the right to fish there.
Why do you think I asked before going and just finding out myself. It's out of respect for the people that put their hard earned money into the HOA so they can fish. If you owned a private pond that you paid to stock and keep healthy, would you want anybody to come on your property and fish all the time without your permission or at least pay you for the right to fish there?
