It was stewart creek, not pecan creek. I fished in there last year and this year. Chapman beat everyone to the sweet spot thursday. He stayed on one spot in the creek the entire tournament except for last day because no other boats were in there. There were atleast 10 boats in that creek from the bridge on into the creek including me. It was somthing to see everyone fishing around each other.

Was he talking about the water that is piped in from Cooper Lake ( AKA Chapman Lake ) to Lake lewisville ?
Was this water warmer ? How ?.... Does it go thru the treatment plant or is it a bypass ? Operated by the city of Irving,.....Trinity regional water, right.
So Chapman won in Chapman water discharge ! !
Trim it high and Let it Fly ! ! ( when it warms up ) Cooper connects to Lavon, not Lewisville.

I talked to him Sunday he said the water went from 53 to 48 overnight cause of the temps. I know of areas where the water treatment plants pums the water back into the lake and its actually cleaner coming in.

The warm water that Chapman was fishing is in Stewart Creek.
The discharge is coming from a source unk to me and others @ this point . Lovelace has fished it several times. States it is not sewage (I Agree with that ).
Still researching ; somebody in Lewisville Tx must know ; someone on forum ?
The diagram of Chapman water to Lavon is outdated i believe.

I went to where it was rolling off the hill, clear blue water with foam, and stunk bad with chemicals.
It was coming from some warehouse on the hill.
More power to those who caught 'em in there, I only had 1. There were no less than 15 boats in there last Sunday in the short time I was there.

Its a water treatment plant. We call them Shi* ditches or poo poo chutes. Not technically sewage, because its been treated.

I can not believe you guys have been fishing this lake for anytime and did know this existed.I will tell you this during duck season and in the summer do not go there!
You will get stainless in you going in and once the weather warms it is not that big a deal and make sure you know where you are gogin can loose a lower unit pretty easy getting there!
Right now there are bass in it for couple of miles!Used to go there in winter never see anyone now you will not be able to fish for the boats not that bigq

Lavon Lake also serves as a terminal reservoir for additional supplies that are transferred to the reservoir to augment supplies. The NTMWD holds water rights for raw water supplies from Lavon Lake, Lake Texoma, Jim Chapman Lake, Lake Bonham, and the Wetland. Additional supplies are available through a contract with the SRA, providing for water transfer to Lavon Lake from Lake Tawakoni and from a contract with the Greater Texoma Utility Authority for additional supplies from Lake Texoma.

Cooper lake has no connectiong to lavon! this lake is out on the other side of Commerce. Texoma is connected to Lavon. Just to clear things up. and there is a treatment plant in the colony so that would explain the warmer water and the plant is on the north east side of the city.

Another person even posted a map earlier in this thread showing the same thing. Did they remove this 84" waterline?
