I love having a 250hp on a 20' boat myself. Little more speed and a little better fuel economy than a 225. I also think they are just a little more fun to drive. To me 20' is more than anough room in a boat. Great all around size to me. I agree, I was initially concerned, but there is more than enough room. In fact my partner has a LE-21 and I cant tell a difference in space. I'm sure there is, but its not noticable.

If I buy another boat..Not to take anything away from a 20, I love mine. I would go with a 21 footer hands down.
Skeeter makes a 22' foot battle ship, I've had a few moments on Sam Rayburn when I wished I had that under me.. Every foot makes a huge difference in the ride, storage, and last to me--speed.
The bigger boat gives a lot more safety for inexperienced drivers in rough water.. I know guys that have owned boats for 20+ years and still to this day can't drive one in rough water worth a hoot.
