Every lake in Texas has bass in it, and big ones too. That doesn't mean one isn't better than another. And yes, BPS is close and that is why I think they chose that lake. There is one good thing about Lewisville, though. If your fishing in the summer time at least you will have plenty of eye candy to keep you occupied.

Say what you want but it's all about timing and the weather. I was reading yesterday about folks going out with guides on Fork the last couple of days and either not catching chit or struggling to catch just a few with three people fishing.

Other than a small power plant lake, it would be tough too. What's your proposed lake around here?

I love it when fishermen put down a lake because they cant catch anything in that lake(blame the lake). We all love Falcon,Amistad,Big Sam and hot water discharge lakes this time of the year.

Lewisville has always been terrible, it's always been known for being terrible. However, it has great amenities

personally i would rather see the pros have to grind out a limit on a really tought lake, kinda the same way i like watching pro golfers struggle under the conditions of the us and british opens. It's nice to know I'm not the only one that can get his tail handed to him on a post cold front brutal day smile
