More of a "pro" than you will ever be. Just sayin' That is my opinion. I don't see you putting up $1250 to fish Lew in Feb. That takes guts and you know what...

Kent has fished more PRO tournaments across this country than most ,and is a mature young man and a great angler .

Yes his father paid his entry and put him in a boat but I still don't get your point?? He has had ALOT of time behind the wheel, age has nothing to do with him driving 70mph on 20mph day with 170 boats in a tournament!! I've set back and watched plenty of 40yr+ guys beat themselves and passenger to death running a rough lake. He has a love for the sport and a family that supports him. I don't see anything wrong with that.

Sorry, Billy but knowing the Cella Family and specifically Kent, I just had to comment.

I've known Kent since the 2009 Bassmasters Classic. He was awarded a national jr. angler championship by Jeff Kriet and also got to spend a day on the river fishing with Kriet. Anyway, I became friends with Kent and his Dad Pat and brother Casey, and have remained so ever since. Some of the classiest people I know. We have fished together many times. Kent's mechanics and technique are outstanding an he is mature far beyond his 16 soon-to-be 17 years. I haven't spoken to him about the measurement issue but know the young man well enough to say the mistake wasn't with intent.

As for being sixteen and driving a high-performance bass boat, the kid's been doing it for years on the Red River and all the other N. Louisiana lakes + Caddo, Toledo and Rayburn. I'd be willing to bet Kent Cella could drive circles around a large majority of the folks on here, in any conditions.

As for the jealous comments about family support, etc. shame on anyone who feels that way. We should all be so lucky.
