OP tx6158 Angler T Joined: Feb 2011 Posts: 380 East Texas	My dad is now working in crystal city, and hasn't had much time to fish the last few years, especially since his boat stays at home in east texas. So I thought it would be good to get him a guided trip to either falcon to amistad, since he is so close. Which lake would you choose, keep in mind he has never been to either lake and will be his first guided trip.

hi rise fishing Outdoorsman H Joined: Aug 2009 Posts: 115 Texas	I've never been to Amistad, and Falcon only once (last week). Based on that one trip, I'd go to Falcon 100 times before I'd even try Amistad! I can't even begin to tell you how incredible that lake was!!!

ETXHorseApple Angler E Joined: Nov 2011 Posts: 298 Cypress, TX	Falcon - numbers and SIZE! Amistad - NUMBERS and size! Falcon you will catch a lot of big fish (6lbs +). Amistad you will catch a lot of 3-5 lbs. fish with a few 6+. Falcon murkey water Amistad Crystal Clear Water. so it all depends on what you want to do. They area both good lakes in my opinion. Im sure you dad would be happy with either one. If you get a guid on Falcon, Speedy is one of the best on the lake! I fish with him in the Everstarts and he is a great gude and will take care of you!
