To answer your question I'd say CJ's...bought some at academy and it did okay...but now I use Lewis King Select and Benny's Sureshot with waaaay better results than the two you mentioned! Give those two a try!!!
Early to bed...early to rise...fish all day...make up lies.

I am a fan of Danny Kings. Catches perfect eating size, never hooked a big one with it though

I have fished with CJs, Danny Kings, Sudden Impact, Sure shot. I personally like sureshot the best all but in the summer time. once it gets hot it didnt stay on the hook to well.

Catfish Candy will outfish DK for sure. I used it for a long time until I started making my own bait (Catfish Candy). Caught over 1,000 channels at Lake Fork last year on it. Is available at Shorty's Marina and Lake Fork Lodge, both on Hwy. 17 at Lake Fork. You won't be sorry you tried it.

Murphy's wins. He makes a really good bait. Its more bang for the buck than the other 2 mentioned, and flat out catches them. He makes it locally in Garland, Tx and uses it when he guides for catfish on Ray Hubbard and Tawakoni. He and the regulars that buy it do every bit as good if not better than the people who buy the Danny Kings and CJ's, and get more bait for the $. I sell all 3 so it really doesn't matter a whole lot to me, just thought I'd give my personal observation of what I see catching fish day in and day out in the store.

I haven't used anything but DK. I have never been disappointed and as long as it keeps producing, I will keep using it. Channel cats here love it.

Get Big Marvs. It works the best.

I have very good luck on Sure Shot and CJs. The men that makes these two fine baits are both class act men. But what works in my lakes my not work so good in yours. So test and see what works for you.

Sure Shot is the best in my opinion. Stinkbait Tom is so confident in Sure Shot if you buy a gallon and don't catch fish he will take a spoon and eat the remaining product. This gurrantee does not apply if Mr. Fabulous is present during fishing.
