Austin thanks! Just let me know how you want for it.
Lester, I got you covered on the Fox micron if I can find it.
I have some baits and odds and ends that I will never use that I will bring.
And yes, +1 on the gear swap.

I tend to over think fishing. Please help me. When I am over complicating something please kick me in the face. Hard.

Instead of a money pot we could possibly do something different(or just an alternate pot). Its called a tackle pot. If you choose to enter in it all you have to do is put in a piece of tackle. An Example would be 1 lead, a pack of hooks or swivels or any kind of end tackle. Make it worth it though. Don't put anything in the pot that you would not like to receive. At the end of the tournament, the winner receives all the tackle entered into the item pot.(for reference I will probably be putting in one lead) It's just an idea ![laugh laugh](/forums/images/graemlins/default/laugh.gif)

This is a points based tournament. At the end of X amount of tournaments(I forgot how many we will have), the ones with the most points are the winners.

Yes sir we are locked in to Meadowmere Park.the directions I sent you are the one and the parking is really close. As far as a fire if tis cold Im not sure. The entrance fee is $5 per car.It starts at 7 and ends at 5 but you can fish till whenever. Its a points based event with prizes at the end of the season. Its the fun friendly environment not the competition type environment. You can arrive or leave whenever you feel like it.

Cool DT that will give me my 3rd micron if you find it. Neil, it's has been way to long since we've fished. I'm really excited about this weekend just to get to see everyone again catching a fish will just be a bonus.

Ok guys, looks like the event this Saturday, 2/11, will officially be at Meadowmere park on Lake Grapevine. There is a 5 dollar per vehicle entry fee at this park. The event runs from 7am to 5pm, and you can show up or leave at any time during the event as long as you let Rick or myself know. We'll be weighing all fish caught with our scales for wcc point calculation purposes and we'll be recording all of the fish on a scorecard. Never thought we'd have a turnout quite like what it seems we're getting for our first event! I know a lot of people will also be stopping by to see what it's all about. Here are the coordinates for the place we'll be located 32.987131,-97.11707 For those of you that haven't fished grapevine, the buffs tend to average about 17 with a upper 20s showing up occasionally. The commons average about 12 with 20's present. Grapevine also has a pretty good shot at a mirror, with a few showing up semi rarely. I've seen koi in there too, so anything's possible.
And another clarification. Wildcarp works on end of season point totals, so you will earn 1 point per ounce for all Common Carp and Smallmouth Buffalo, and 2 points per ounce on all Koi and Mirror carp. You will earn a total number of points per session for all the fish you catch(or don't catch lol) for all the sessions that you attend. You don't have to attend every club session. At the end of the season, we will have prizes, what they are will be announced eventually, for the top 3 places and probably also a big fish prize for the year. Another thing is WCC of Austin and WCC of North TX are 2 different clubs, meaning the other club's points do not count for ours and vice versa.
Can't wait for the event guys! Lets hope it's a great one.
