I am in the market for a new rod. I'm going to get a 7'6" MH just can't decide which one. Please people that have one of the rods not people telling me if I would just spend double the money I could buy rod "X". I have my mind set on one just don't know which?

I've got both and love them. The only problem is the metal piece on the butt of the rod. After a good day of fishing your ribs/stomach will be pretty bruised up but that's evidence you whacked em!

I have both as well and love em! I would pu the Veritas over the Vendetta because of the exposed blank under the reel seat.

Veritas are decent rods. I buy them during the Academy Rods Riot. Let whoever fishes with me use them and they are usually pleased. I have broke a couple on things that wouldn't break the Falcon Lowriders I use.

I have both, but would go with the Veritas again in a med. The Veritas come a little on the heavy side.

I have both and i prefer the vendetta over veritas and not because of price That's really interesting, can you comment on why? I have both a vendetta and two veritas. When I got the vendetta I wasn't as eased with it as I thought I would be, for the money it's a decent enough rod, but it doesn't have the balance and feel that the veritas has. I would gladly pay double for another veritas if I broke one of mine and needed to replace it, but if I broke my vendetta(which I almost never use) I wouldn't replace it with another one even if it was on sale for 25.00. The balance and feel just don't seem right to me on my vendetta, in my opinion the veritas is a much better feeling rod in my hands. I've got a revo Sx on the vendetta, and smokes on the veritas. The veritas smoke combo is very light and nimble and I can chunk a dd14,deep little n or db2 all day with it. I'm curious as to why you prefer the vendetta, i obviously don't but everyone is different and the op might like some insite as to why to help make his decision

I have both as well, and the Veritas is lighter and has a much better feel. I've broken two Veritas, and may not buy another if this one breaks, but I do like the rod quite a bit. I pair them up with Revo Premiers and they are awesome.
Try out the Veritas, it's worth the extra $20.

I have both and I love them in their own separate ways. To me, the Veritas are stiffer but have some major backbone and can handle heavy cover. The Vendettas are super-light and sensitive, but a little whippy to me. I would choose the Veritas between the 2, but you can't go wrong w/ either!

I have the white one. My cousin has the black ones. Abu needs to just stick with reels they have that figured out. The rods break like toothpicks they are not balanced. They are both heavy and do not have the proper action stamped on them. Plus why did I buy a white rod? I still ask myself this? Lot of better rods on the market for almost the same price. The next one that breaks will be a store credit. This I can assure you.
