Wish they had a pool or someplace where you could paddle the kayaks at. Mariner can meet you out at White Rock Lake on Thursday or a Saturday. You need to call up there and find out which Saturday it is because I have no idea. Shaun Y'all going to be out there this weekend too? Todd, We will be there. Dave, I have some pics on my phone and will post some tonight

Sorry but the Dallas Boat Show doesn't have a pool. We did have one at the recent January Dallas Vacation Show at the Convention Center. I got to paddle a Hobie i9 Inflatable inside the center in a 15,000 gallon pool. I never remotely thought I would ever paddle at the center!
Hope to see everyone out this weekend at the show. You need to come out and see Robbie and Shuan's excellent presentation. SO how did it paddle? Did it stay inflated? Did you deflate and try putting it back into the bag it came in?

I'm a few days late but looked like Shaun and Rob did a great job with the booth on Sunday morning!
It was seriously packed, I didn't see that many people at another booth for the rest of the time I was at the show. Had to have been 15+ people packed in looking at the rigged PA and 135 or standing in the isle looking at the mirage drive demo.
I stopped in at the Cabela's booth next door to talk to my buddy Dan Sullivan and he said "those kayak guys next door are stealing all of our thunder" lol.
Shaun, nice to finally get to meet you face to face since I've not been able to make any of the Dallas area events on the water.
Keep up the good work!

Glad to hear the boat show seems to have been a big success so far. I know the show was hurt last year by all the bad weather.
Of course that made it nice for those of us who braved the elements to go. We went on a Friday evening and almost had the place to ourselves. But I know what's nice for a stroll'er is not necessarily nice for all the vendors.
We'll be there tomorrow ... hope to see ya'll then!
This might be the weirdest, most pointless post ever. I am not against golf, since I cannot but suspect it keeps armies of the unworthy from discovering fishing

Don't forget to come visit us in the Fishing and Outdoors pavilion. It is on the south side of the building (Stemmons side). The entrance is midway down the south wall. All the DFW fly fishing clubs, Temple Fork, and many others are out there. I'll be there Saturday talking fly fishing and tying flies.
