New lures seen yesterday included, a better selection of BooYah spinnerbaits, War Eagle Spinners, KVD square bills, & KVD Mustad trebles. They were still adding stuff. All this was in a Houston 'saltwater' store.

The Wal-Mart on S Boadway in Tyler has always had a great selection because the manager orders a bunch of stuff but now maybe it will be even better. This is good for guys who don't have stores around them

Went to Oregon last June for sons wedding and was surprised to find out the Walmarts are far and few between up their. Target is strong their. Shure wish we had a Red Robin hamburger place around here.

Every January their inventory changes. Unfortunately their prices do not. Academy will still have sales and still have the rod riots. Walmart will not and unless there is an add will not match pricing. All of that on top of their new return policy which is not consumer friendly. This is not a hate message just stating fact. So what changes have they made to their return policy?
This might be the weirdest, most pointless post ever. I am not against golf, since I cannot but suspect it keeps armies of the unworthy from discovering fishing

Walmart will not and unless there is an add will not match pricing. All of that on top of their new return policy which is not consumer friendly. This is not a hate message just stating fact. So what changes have they made to their return policy? 30 day policy on everything but electronics in which they only have a 15 day policy. Items have to be in original packaging to receive refund and that is only if you have your receipt. With no receipt and the item scans as a product that they carry then they may or may not give you store credit. I learned this the hard way waiting until after the new year to return some items my kiddos got for Xmas. My kids got 2 Xbox consoles from family members. I went to get a refund or credit and they wouldn't even look at it without a receipt. I had to break a family members heart and ask for a receipt, got it and then returned to Walmart only to be denied again because the item was purchased outside of the 15 days. Let me remind you that it was still sealed and new in box. I had to Craigslist it just to get any money out of it. Walmart was kind enough to give me a copy of their new return policy.

I wish I still had the email from Chris Brown that used to work for Strike King explaining the quality control process and what it is that Walmart actually buys from them and other vendors in bulk. Let me put it this way, their prices should be at least 25%-30% cheaper.

No I have not Shawn thanks for the info. Last time I did it was in November on strike king cranks. I honestly hate the place only go there if I have to thats usually if academy does not have something I need and that is hardly never. I'll give it an occasional stroll when grocery shopping but hardly ever get anything.

Believe me I have. Ever since I learned of Angler's Pro in Hurst Ive been going out there every chance I get. And I usually cant walk out of that place without at least spending 50 dollars. Just wish they were a lil closer and open a lil later. Only time I can go is on my lunch break and I have to be very quick about it lol.

You know the old saying
If it floats, flys, or f___s it is always cheaper to rent!
You have to decide which is more important.
