Lewisville has about 4.5 to 5' to go before it's full.

I thought it was only 5-6 feet too. I guess this is wrong.

It's been raining every few days since October. By April everything should be great, in fact, we might be a little sick of rain by then. Harold Taft always said a drought usually ends with a flood. He knew Texas weather.

"..The pleasantist angling is to see the fish
Cut with her golden oars the silver stream,
And greedily devour the treacherous bait.
Bill Shakespeare

With the lack of rain we had this past year. I am not complaining when, or where or how the rain comes, we need it in a bad way. I just hope all the nay-sayers about the rain remember August and September are coming and its gonna be hot!

Thank you Lord for the RAIN!

That's way wrong to begin with. Plus it was last updated in September. Use this site.... http://www.swf-wc.usace.army.mil/reports/fish.htm

Hope whitney and waco are catching water.

Life journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved state.
But rather skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "holy carp what a ride!"

Lavon is up 7.5" since yesterday's reading on the TWDB website. It's now "only" 10.89 feet low. This rain will dent that, but I doubt it will bring it up too far toward pool level. I'm guessing no more than 3 feet total, and some of that may have to be released to Hubbard.

Its come up about 1.4 feet. Look at full pool then subtract current elevation. This will give you the amount the lake is low.

It is 4.97 feet low this morning and has come up about 10" since yesterday. I don't recall the exact measurement yesterday.
