Lewisville has about 4.5 to 5' to go before it's full.

It's been raining every few days since October. By April everything should be great, in fact, we might be a little sick of rain by then. Harold Taft always said a drought usually ends with a flood. He knew Texas weather.

With the lack of rain we had this past year. I am not complaining when, or where or how the rain comes, we need it in a bad way. I just hope all the nay-sayers about the rain remember August and September are coming and its gonna be hot!
Thank you Lord for the RAIN!

Hope whitney and waco are catching water.
Life journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved state. But rather skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "holy carp what a ride!"

Lavon is up 7.5" since yesterday's reading on the TWDB website. It's now "only" 10.89 feet low. This rain will dent that, but I doubt it will bring it up too far toward pool level. I'm guessing no more than 3 feet total, and some of that may have to be released to Hubbard.

i dont understand that website or the numbers...so let me ask this...before it started raining last night...how low was lewisville as of Monday the 23, 2012....and how much ahs it come up since the rain began Its come up about 1.4 feet. Look at full pool then subtract current elevation. This will give you the amount the lake is low.
