It's better to have hooked and lost than to never have hooked at all. No its really not. I for one iam really haunted by my neglectful mistakes. Really big fish need more respect took me awhile to learn that. And it really shouldnt.To loose trouphy animals because of the lack of being prepared isnt right.

I have three Fork giants that I cannot forget about. They all tossed or pulled the hooks out. One in particular I lost due to a spinnerbait being hung up in the net. She was a true SAL. Had her swim right down the side of the boat, deep six then come up and hand me my 5/0 Owner. It's like a bad nightmare.
