Checked out the Prosper Trout Derby today! Saw a number of Trout being caught. For this fisherman, struck out this round on Trout. Had several bites, lost one while bring it in, and then caught one Bullhead. Trout are there, should get more hookups in the next few days! Today's Pictures. I think I caught that same catfish yesterday. The wind was blowing so hard the little lake had white caps. I'm probably going to try again tomorrow morning.

Ive been out to prosper several times. I haven't had any luck catching trout there. the water is super stained, even before the rains. Doesn't trout like clear water?

Is the lake they stock by the park or the school? At South Lakes park

Planning a trip to Waterloo in Denison this Saturday with the wife and our three nieces. I have never fished any of the trout stockings before and thought we would give it a try. Has anyone fished there recently?

bascat, it is the lake by the park (used to be the lake by the school)
ckcrew, yep it is muddy at Prosper. I've only had luck on Berkley trout dough on warmer days. I suspect for a day like today it may be warm enough that they are feeding at the surface?

This is troutmaster150 would u mind posting another pic for me. I caught another monster trout. 21 1/2". 4# 11oz. Caught on a 3" powerworm. At huaco springs.

Thanks smithhaven. I'm proud of that fish. Fought him for over 20 mins on 2# test. But I Finnally won. Does any body no of a qaulity taxidermist that won't poke my eyes out? I have 3 fish I'd like to mount.

didnt know hueco had em that size. all i ever caught was small fsh. havnt fished it this year tho

Taking my girlfriend's son out to Northwest Park (Irving) tomorrow. What have they been biting on, I was planning on using powerbait and corn.
