Ha I am a living example that you can go to a hot spot use the same bait as the guy catching a fish every 3 minutes and spend hours and not get one bite .. Come on folks no matter how many people go if they dont have the skill it dont matter. I swear some people here act like they will starve without those crappie . Fish in the grocery store dont cost that much , buy a slab lol

MR.Aquiles sounds to me like you should book a trip with mr. Carey Thorn(WRC Guru) and let him help improve on your skills.I asume you are referring to WRC am I correct?Sometimes we all can use a little help there is no shame in that but it is a shame when there is a wealth of knowledge walking around and we are too proud to seek their help.There is not a person on this FORUM that was born with a rod & reel in their hands I know I wasn`t so Do yourself a favor BOOK A TRIP it will do you no harm man

Thanks Hamm creek! All fish caught on cane pole with 30lb test, treble hook, baited with bubble gum....  Nice fish here....guy wanted to hold it, but I caught it......off bubble gum.  This was the biggest of the day, Found some guy in his back yard to hold it for me while I took the pic(it's a tricky phone, that's why I had him hold it) this fish has a 3pounder in him....he swallowed it while I was pulling him in....he's almost 9pounds....thanks again Hamm creek!  That's Great now where did I put my bubble gum.

Hamm Creek is about as big of secret as the hooker's phone number on the wall at the gas station. Funny thing is that every year the crowds show up, and we only catch a small percentage of that crowd.

Aquiles, now that you have successfully caught one crappie, you need to book a guide...catch some more...then when you have about 4 dozen crappie, Invite some folks that know how to cook them up just right...then you will be whining just like we do...and you to will SNEER as you walk by those fish in the grocery store!!!! And until you been there you don't understand that!!!!!!!!... I'm just saying.....

MAN!! How did I miss this thread!?! Did anybody ever get punched in the face? What's an Air Boat? Is it like an Air Guitar? Me and Paw Paw will take on any other 2 people on the TFF in anything but thumb rastlin' and river dancin'.   Still ain't been to Hamm Creek either. Are they still biting dalejrfan??

I was ketchn in that river before most a them knew it existed
I avoided it this year and probably always will due to the crowds myself
last time I went 25 years ago the boats were actually lined up stern to bow as far as the eye could see ....
and NOW its a secret spot ?
holy heck this forum is ....way tooooo entertaining without a doubt
