Had Eastexn, friend, son, and grandson today. They put some good fish in the boat early but the afternoon bite was the ticket. We had ALOT of fish over 7 lbs in the boat including a 10lb hyb and a 13lb striper. bananaThey kept what they wanted and released a bunch including the the 10 and 13. thumb

Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

What a great January day on Tawakoni. None of us had ever fished for stripers or had fished T-Wak. We asked Trent to find us some fish and at the same time to show us where to find fish, and how to catch them. He did all of the above in fine fashion. He put us on fish early and moved us to new fish each time they slowed down. And, each time we moved it seemed like the fish got larger. It was a trip to remember.

What a day. We caught something like 40-45, keeping 18, and throwing all of the large ones back. I am now living on Lake Palestine and after this education from Trent, I think I can fish for Hybrids on My Lake.

Thanks Trent for a splendid day of fishing and catching. You furnished us a great trip with some fine education. And thanks for posting the pictures.

I bet they were using spinner baits!

It didn't work for me the other day.

Nice going Trent! Great pics.
