My favorite 2 are the beadhead briminator and cap spiders in sizes 12 and 14 but I am looking to tie more of a variety. What would you suggest? In typical fashion, I am trying to fix something that isn't broken as these 2 flies have been very productive on bluegill.

Maybe a little top water action? Foam spiders or poppers of some sort. I like to tie and fish Pete's Gurgle Pops.

McQuade Bugger Basically a woolly bugger with either sillilegs or spinnerbait skirt material for a tail and ice chennile/estaz for a body. Hackle is optional and I usually skip it all together. Dead simple and a dead bang fish catcher. This little streamer WILL twist the heck out of your line. I actually think that's the secret of its success. As you strip it, it twists and when you pause, it un-twists. The pause is when I tend to get a lot of strikes on this thing. Is it traditional? Nope. Does it catch fish? You tell me... As you can see, the strikes are subtle and the fish gently sip the...honestly, does this fish look like a sipper? Bass are panfish, right? Some pans need to be bigger than others...
