Big fish taken off bridge, nothing new. One point that is seldom brought up... amount of time spent on the bridge vs. other places. Those pillars get pounded constantly. If the wind isn't blowing there are going to be people on every bridge you can think of. It is shaded, convenient and holds fish. Get ya a knee replacement, a deck boat, cup holder and a captains chair...instant bridge fisherman.

I'd like to think if that much time was spent on a select few mainlake points what would show up.

If the crappie don't fit you must acquit?

What is the fine for fishing with a gamefish Heath? Just curious.

Fines are left up to the Justice of the Peace in each county. TPWD does not set any of our fine amounts. We can however sometimes suggest a stiffer fine for something that we feel is very blatant poaching. I know I would tell my JP to hammer somebody if I caught em doing it. it's a class c so the max fine would be 500 plus court costs which would make it close to 600 but it's ultimately up to the JP. I know some things that are 200 dollar fines from my JP are 400 in Franklin County

Well, Jersey Dan was willing to pay a guide $2500 for a Fork DD, so a $600 fine is a drop in the bucket... go for it Dan.

Yep. And a big ol' ticket if the game warden sees you doing it too, lol.
as long as the fish is of legal size it dosnt matter what you do with it u can eat it, use it as bait, or just kill it. I dont recommend just killing it though. Just my 2cents

I stand correct never new that. I think that's dumb if I catch a legal fish I should be able to do what ever I want to with it.

Sounds like Dans looking for free guide info for big fish holes. Odds for ANY guide to hit a DD in one day are astronomical, even on Fork. What if he puts you on one and you screw it up or break it off? Bad weather, high wind...that`s a tough hand to play. I give Clint props for trying but if I were him I would take the $400 guide fee from a paying customer and buy some lotto...at least if he hit the payoff is worth it. Not being a hater Dan...hell i`ll do the same deal if they will take it.

Right. I think it's one of them Yankee tricks. Jersey'll have barbless, quick release, hooks so that he never, actually, lands the 10,the guides put on his line.. That way he never pays for the guide and gets all the guide info for free. Heck, even, Jersey, can go back and catch a 10,on his own. You gotta watch them Yankees, every minute!
