I am going to fish Fork in the morning and would spilt gas with someone. I will be leaving Garland at 6am. The plan is to fish the points near the dam from 8-12 and get home around 2pm. I would prefer it be someone familiar with the crappie forum. Anyone wanting to go has to meeting the following requirements:

Know how to fish
Bring their own rods/tackle
Not want to discuss politics

Disclaimer:
I know how to fish, but am not a guide. I have fished Fork in the winter before and crushed them. I have also blanked. All I garanteee you is a ride to the lake. If you want to go send me a PM. We can meet at Fisherman's Supply.

man, would love to but I really need to get a decent crappie rod or two, headed to Cabela's tomorrow. Keep me in mind for next time; always have gas money.

No problem Buzzard and I do promise to hold the steering wheel, attach the kill switch, and wear the life jacket. Thanks for the reminder leaning post.

Headed to bed. No takers, but hopefully plenty of keepers. It will be nice to watch the sun rise over the pines in the morning.

Thanks again. All fish came from one point in 30-32ft. Bass were suspended above them. I caught three nice bass and reeled them up 10 feet every two minutes to let them decompress. Hopefully it allowed them to survive. One was really nice and weighed over 5 elbows.
Half on trolled minnows and the others on True Blue Slabmesilly 1/8oz jigs. I wish it hadn't started raining. It was cold!
