Save your money and go over to the Classic expo in Shreveport. Well worth the drive.

I could only imagine the tackle show would morph into a Fun n Sun type deal. It is great a Company is out to promote fishing, fishing relate products, getting booths, loading up the massive space they have under roof and let everyone enjoy it all for free. Win win for everyone. I would think all the wise vendors would try to secure a spot because it will surely be limited. I hope it brings the tackle show feel back to it especially if they are doing the swap meet the same weekend. How great would that be. Alot better rather than the sewing machines, rock candy, dream catchers, and all the other non related items that carried the other show straight into the ditch. I will be there, free food, free drinks and free entry. Please dont think for a second there wont be someone whining about something related to this show though, because those are the self proclaimed have nots, and have a generally pissy demeanor which will be evident once the show is over.

I am glad the old venue is gone and hope it never comes back. It was tired, and not a lick of excitement in the entire boring oversized underutilized overpriced generic space that it was. It is time for a change...uuuuuh make that two changes, both next year.

My hope is that you all force our hand and we have to make it even bigger and better. If we get 3k+ people in over the 3 days, it will be crowded but it will only motivate us and APT to make it even bigger and better.

Wow....Free admission, free drinks, free food, etc...

Thanks to Fun-n-Sun for putting in the hard work needed to pull this off for the anglers here in the DFW area. Plus, Anglers Pro Tackle is there and they will have a great selection of the latest fish catching stuff for 2012!

thumb See you there!
