 Do any of the Academy's carry Duckett or Dobyns?

It seems that I have heard some fellow anglers talking about some of their local Academy's carrying Dobyns or maybe even ducketts, but I dont recall.
Thanks for the info.

Pretty sure they don't carry dobyns.. Cabelas does and other online retailers..

That would be great, the only good rods at Academy imho are falcon's. They have a great return policy and that's why I shop there most times.

yea, almost bought the Bucoo last night. Having a hard time deciding between falcon, Duckett and Dobyn's Rods. Trying to move up to a better grade of rod.

If you buy a falcon from Academy and somethings not right with it, or the tip breaks, or whatever happens they will swap it out no questions asked. No paying shipping to the manufacturer and waiting to get your rod back. Just take it in, walk out with a new one. If academy sold dobyn's or duckett's I'd be way more inclined to purchase one. Those bucoo's are great for the price.

I would still keep my eyes open here and there. Our local Academy had a few G. Loomis rods a while back.

I think Academy quit carrying those loomis rods. The one's in conroe all went on closeout in the spring.

If I was an upper end manufacturer I wouldn't want my rods carried by Academy...too many bogus returns.
