I'm pretty good at donating, I'm planning on coming out. Quick question. I've never been on Grapevine, is the lake open to run or is there timber or hazards to be aware of? Thanks

Main lake is pretty much wide open. There is some timber in the upper end, but I don't think you can even get up there to run it wide open. Lake is down about 6' or so it looked like. Only timber to worry about is in the backs of coves.

Tracy hit the nail on the head with the timber.. the only other thing I can think of are a few long points on the north side of the lake. Just give the points plenty of respect and you'll be fine.

Entry fee is per boat, you may fish solo or with a partner but only one 5 fish stringer per boat.
