Me and my wife are celebrating our 25th Anniversary with a 2 day fishing trip to Falcon. I have never been before and the Guide said just bring the tackle he will have the rod/reels covered. We are going next week, can you guys suggest what to bring -- I dont want to get down there and be unprepared. Thank you! helpsign

Don't forget the 1/2 oz bullet weights for the flukes.

Also, you cannot be too unprepared. There are two great tackle stores there that have everything but finesse tackle. Lol!

We will be fishing on Thur and Fri next week. Of course I will ask the guide for a short list of what to bring a couple of days before we leave. I just thought it would be worthwhile to pick the brains of some of you guys. Certainly alot of success stories on here !

Use lead weights, no need for tungsten.

7 inch senko type lures, large brushhogs 4/0 & 5/0 hooks and 3/4 to 1 oz jigs.

Plastics - watermelon red, watermelon magic and watermelon gold
Jigs - junebug, copper and PB&J colors.

That lake is full of angler friendly fish.........

Big bulky trailers. Paddle tail worms, Gene Lawrew big craws.

Go big or go home.

Which guide are you using? Everyone I know provides all the bait and tackle.
