Should be one out soon that mimics a "herd", or "pod" of crawdads on the bottom...that'll get really messy... loco

Gordons been around for a long time and probably not going anywhere even in a tight market. Way to keep it reel.

Rule carifications needs to be definative, otherwise many other questions come into play like a trailer hook for short strikes on a spinnerbait, dropshots with a jig or worm as the weight, etc. If you going to have a rule, make it iron clad before a protest is lodged without an answer to it!

Media Bass has been in business over 20 years conducting tourneys. I would say that is a success.

Gordon Stauffer is a good Christian man who is honest and tries very hard to placate the "whiners" and every other customer he has. Tough job, believe me!!!!!!!

How many of you have ever been a tourney director over a large team trail? And just what trail was it you speak of that is no longer around because of the director "listening to whiny fishermen"? Maybe you mean he didn't listen to you instead?

I have known Gordon Stauffer almost 25 years. No I don't fish tourneys but Gordon should not be called out for making a decision on a business he owns and operates. If you don't like a trail's rules, don't fish them. Nobody is twisting your arm.

Remember when Media used to be relevant??

Now you know why they don't draw like they used to. Proof is in the numbers.

The reason Media or any other trail numbers is down is because Texas is OVERSATURATED with tournaments. Simply not enough tourney anglers to go around and a LOT of guys who used to fish tourneys aren't anymore. And good tourney directors are hard to find. Plus, the economy is in the tank and guys don't have the extra money to fish tourneys with as in years past.

Sounds like "TD Talk" to me. Justify it however you want. Media's numbers have been going downhill for years. And by the way, Meida invented "oversaturation"!

If I can not use my hydro wave Media looses me. I will fish with someone else, which is unfortunate because I have fished with them for the past 4 years. Lets just change the rules midstream, I think not.

HS- Sounds like a disgruntled former Media angler to me. And I am not a "TD". You can justify your statements any way you want to also. I won't disagree that Media's number haven't been going down either. LOTS of trails numbers are not as high as they were just 3 years ago. And if you are old enough to remember, Angler's Choice Tournaments invented "oversaturation" back in the late 1980's.

Not disgruntled at all. Starting fishing Media back in 89. Just better trails out there right now. Davis and Anglers Choice didn't come close to the trails offered by Media. Nice try though.

Making ridiculous rule changes to combat a "fad" cheapens everything Media does. I would say the same about any trail!

My opinion is if a product is available to everyone and within state laws it should be allowed.
