Just got word that Patrick Starnes won the CAST Pro-Am with 49.65# over 2 days. 23.09# yesterday, and 26.56# today. His big fish was 9.48 yesterday and 9.54# today. That is a sick bag, especially considering that it was a 3 fish per day limit. Patrick has that lake dialed in right now. For those that don't know, Patrick and his partner, Chris Snyder came in 2nd on Falcon earlier this month at the Bass Champs championship with 79+#. Word is that Patrick beat out the rest of the field at the Pro-Am by over 9#. Congrats man! No word on patterns, lures, or techniques yet. I'm waiting to get more info......

I was told he caught them all on the Raptor Tail Craw from Xcite Baits in Molten Craw. Had to have a rush order sent down. Congrats on two great days back to back and two great tournament finishes.

I would like to see that happen on the beloved Fork. Thats a 8.28 average. Gotta love Falcon. Congrats to both of them I wish I knew that lake that well.

He asked me to post it for him, it said: "Well ya see Tim, you take that 80 # braided stuff and slip it through the hole of a 1 oz. tungsten weight, attach your line to the strongest ******* hook you can buy, put the Raptor on weedless and you flip that dadgum deal in the hardwood (cuz that's where the fish are)then ya got to hold on for dear life cuz them big ol Falcon bass is the meanest there is in all the world. And then you do it some more!!"
