Russell, how much is your old man selling them for?
Perhaps, I can beat you and Rob, next year the Corps tournament.

A small inline spinner on top of weight would cool

How much bending can the wires stand before the break from metal fatigue?

Sorry it has taken me so long to post but I got these in and though the concept is good they will not work. The way the wires are fed through the weight and not secure allows for the baits to come together and not stand out like they are suppose to.
Dissapointed in AR...

I'VE GOT ABOUT 30 RIGS LEFT THAT I MADE FROM 1/16 SS WIRE. THEY WORK GREAT W/3" TO 6" SWIMMERS. THE WIRES ARE WELDED AND CRIMPED.THEY WILL WITHSTAND LOTS OF BENDING. NOT INTERESTED IN MASS PRODUCTION, JUST THOUGHT I WOULD MAKE A FEW FOR THE HELL OF IT. NOT BRAGGING BUT THESE ARE CONSIDERABLY BETTER THAN ANY I'VE SEEN. $15.00 WILL GETR DONE. YOU HAVE TO FURNISH YOUR OWN BAITS. @ LAKE FORK MOST EVERY WEEKEND GIVE ME A CALL @ 214-869-5830. WILL BE @ SQUAW THIS SAT.

It's going to be interesting how the patent deal works out now that Mann's Bait Company owns the rights to the original Alabama rig. Mann's has enough money to go after everyone if the patent goes through.

I'll give it a couple of more weeks, and every major lure mfg. will have their version out, just like the first swimbaits that came out!

I agree. It wont be much longer...... I got a call last week from Dave Nichols at Nichols lure Co. here in Jacksonville and he has a version of the rig now that is pretty sweet. made with stronger swivels and he used "Crimp Sleeves" on the wire instead of bending it and wrapping it around. Then the original A-rig people just made a deal Mann's bait Co. to go into mass production and packagiing because they couldnt keep up with the orders.
