It sure is nice having the entire lake to ourselves lately. Poor ole Cedar Creek has been pretty empty on boats and water but the fishing is still very good. All these hybrids were found in 6ft of water in the back of a cove on Friday morning. Most of our trips we have been chasing hybrids early in the morning and then switching to either crappie or white bass afterwards. Both have been pretty consistant. The whites ofcourse have been extremely consistant with limits being fairly easy to catch. Hybrids have been a little less consistant but we've been able to find them on most trips.
Water level about 7 1/2 foot low and 69 degrees.

keeping there limit of 20 hybrid stripers plus white bass made for an exciting fishing adventure!

Anything would have worked on these fish. They were pushing shad up to the surface feeding. We just threw 3/4 oz slabs since there was only hybrids there.

Today the hybrids were much slower. We hooked up with 3 legal hybrids before catching a limit of 50 white bass. The white bass fishing was excellent with a very good slab bite. Most of the morning we caught fish or atleast had bites on every cast.

We're launching 24ft bay boats there without much problem. Prop wash area is getting bad so lift your motor up.

Chuck,

Thank you for the advise today on the trolling motors.

You are a jewel, If you are not fishing with me. I would be fishing with you.

You are a good catch,
