CASTAWAY LLC76 is a great rod for that type crank. Loads up easy and really puts them out there....hence the name...Long Range Launcher. It's a telescoping rod so it's easy to store as well. I have a 20 year old one from when they used Loomis blanks and it's still a mainstay in my arsenal.

We can get you a great deal on a 7' plus Duckett cranking stick. You will not regret it. Very light and won't wear you down cranking. Let us know by pm or call us up directly. 817-six58-5351. Thanks!

I use the 7'11" Duckett cranking rod and love it. I can and do throw DD22's on it all day long with out feeling wore out. I use the new Chronarch for the reel.

I'm a big fan of the falcon cara composit cranker
This is an awesome rod for medium/deep divers. I have a 7' Dobyns 705CB Glass rod for throwing square bills. That glass rod is lighter than most of my graphite rods. Both are awesome rods. Check out the Dobyns glass crankbait rods. I love them! +1 +2 You wouldn't know the Dobyns glass rods are glass by just picking them up. Like he said above they are lighter that alot of graphite rods. For deep cranks the 805CB RM and for traps the 705CB Glass. I use the BSP Johnny Morris Signature 5.?:1 for deep cranks and a Curado e7 for traps and square bills.

I like a 7' medium action with a 7:1 ratio. Glass is not necessary for me as I'm pretty diligent about not ripping it away from them. caught this hog on my seven foot medium falcon (fast action) with a chronarch 7:1 on it. I use 17 lb stren mono. The crankbait I was using was a bandit 200, but I caught a nine on this rod over the summer fishing a DD22. Bad a$$ setup if you ask me. ![](http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa28/stonewilled/seven-2.jpg)

I have a Crucial crankbait rod, I think 7'11". I love it, and handles deep crankbaits and traps really well.

I have a couple customs built on the Lamiglas MB841E blank, and they are by far my favorite and the most versatile crankers I own. I have customs built on G Loomis CB843, CB845 and CB847 blanks along with a Shimano Crucial crankbait rod- I'd take the glass Lami over them anyday. The newer glass rods are not heavy like the ones I fished with as a kid!

for cranks that aren't deep divers, (200 bandit size or less, or any square bill), I'm really liking my 6'6 medium vendetta. Probably the cheapest rod(s) I own. I bought one, and had to get another the next week. Also awesome for little cranks, poppers, and spook jrs too! As for deep divers, I'll have to go with the lamiglas certified pro series e-glass. I team my vendetta up with a curado 50... puts a smile on my face when I see the need to use these combos.

For the money, I like the BPS crankin' sticks. I haven't tried any deep cranks on it yet, but I like it quite a bit for the medium and shallow divers. It can shoot those little Mann's 1-Minus cranks around like darts.
