Every time I go to a forum to find out info on something all i see is people putting other people down with vague comments, just because people don't do or say what they think is right doesn't mean you should go judging others. I came here looking for advice or information on what would happen in this situation, it might have come out wrong but that doesn't mean you have to make me feel bad for something I said. Thank you all who said what would happen in my situation. I think you sent this post in the direction it went when you started talking about false advertising.
The solution to any problem - work, love, money, whatever - is to go fishing, and the worse the problem, the longer the trip should be. --John Gierach

Luis, It's only false advertising if they keep your money or you can prove intent to mislead. If they refund it, there is no false advertising, and they can back up the true intent by their advertised price on Facebook. This was just a clerical error by some unemployed web programmer.

what i mean is that I was being looked at as a bad person or "person who takes advantage of" for buying something that was priced wrong, all I was asking is what was going happen in this situation.

I wasn't trying to screw no company, I wanted to know what happens, because I hadn't heard from them and they had my money thats all.

Because the "Never a dumb question" dont apply here. false advertising is where they are trying to lure you in and get you to buy at a higher price, far cry from a typo. Even the top of the page said 225.00, only the order part said 2.25.
If the majority of people on a forum were not on your side you need to re-evaluate your comments, then you will understand why. From what i have seen on this forum is good, fair people and will take a deal when they can, BUT, wont take advantage of people.

So you want to take advantage of someone that made a clerical error? Yes I want to take advantage because it is a good product, but it is not my fault they advertised or priced it they way they did. I think this exchange is where you lost the ability to be the victim. Clearly you weren't just looking for information.
The world is changed by your example, not by your opinion.

Good point but, If i wasnt just trying to look for information what was my purpose in this forum? exactly! I wouldnt be here, I would be calling my lawyer or whatever you do to make a case against someone. That comment I said sarcastically, but anyway, who wouldnt buy kistlers that were marked for two dollars.

Sorry guys didnt mean to get a fight started! It was a simple typo and I would not expect TW to honor it!

Not your fault at all, wasnt expecting TW to honor it either it was just that i hadnt heard back from them and i was getting worried that they processed the order I put in and no response was sent afterwards.

So you want to take advantage of someone that made a clerical error?
you never know when they might do something like that on purpose...(though I'd be the OP gets a gift certificate for a little over what he paid, an apology letter, and never recieves the rods). though on a lower scale I was at Dick's Sporting Goods one time and saw a 0.02 price tag on Bandit 300's in Blue Back Herring. I grabbed every one and checked out with a basketfull of crankbaits for a little over a quarter.
