The date may be an issue for me. Dang

IMO the date is bad. The ATC has always been the week after sxsw and only once did it fall close to the spawn. The fishing is only so so in late feb and the fish could potentially be in winter feeding mode still. Good luck though Rick , it is a thankless job.

I am not trying to stir up anything but that is not a good date for fishing as far as numbers go. I do believe that the fish will still be in winter mode and the bite will not be that good. The ATC has always been around the same dates. Good luck though.

I wouldn't keep from making bait.I'd experiment some and see what I could come up with that different.You don't have to make a large batch,just enough for a session or two.
