big green tractor is a song made by jason alden. pretty catchy. i sing it well. or at least i think i do!! Yes, we prefer that you sing it solo. So-low we can't hear you!

I was there yesterday. When I left about 80 people had signed in. The fly tying tables were full. The quality and helpfullness of the tiers was amazing. You could learn to tying almost anything yesterday. Several people were going from table to table with their own vices and learning something new from multiple people.
The facilities were nice with a good size central room, big kitchen, the cabins were close, and there was a good open casting area in the middle of it all.
TFO was there with all of their rods, so you could cast anything you wanted to try.
There were at least seven casting instructors helping anyone that wanted help. There were 5 CCI's, the president of TFO, one of the ff'ing instructors from Bass Pro, and even a two handed rod casting instructor available to help.
It was a well done event and a good location to hold it.

I will have a full report and pictures soon. The event went very well. We had over 80 tyers in attendance. We really appreciate the support that most of the DFW clubs gave over the last three days.

I would like to add my thanks to all who helped to organize, and run the Rendezvous. It greatly exceeded my expectations. And a heartfelt thanks to those who worked in the background, and especially to those folks in the kitchen who put on some great meals for us to enjoy.
I look forward to next year's Rendezvous.
