I was wondering if anyone cared to share their install pics of what they have in their boat! the good, the bad, and the ugly so to speak. What to do and not to do! Im thinking two 6X9's and running a amp in my starboard side rod box and have my rca wires running out to my Ipod or my Iphone at the console! looking for any and all info! thanks.

not a bass boat if you put in a stereo. it is then a party boat!

all kidding aside, be careful and get a good seal and mount on the speakers. rough chop can cause all kinds of problems for speakers and wiring. solder whenever possible and buy marine grade.

Those would probably be some excellent sounding speakers. I've got a cheap setup of Boss 6.5 3 way speakers and a Boss head unit. You can hear it running down the lake over the motor so it's good enough for me.

I'm gonna hook them up to a Rockford 300.2 amp so these speakers should be loud

Yes they should hahahaha. I love good audio but haven't messed with it at all in a few years since I sold my Lexus. I'd probably consider doing it to my boat as well but there are so many other things to blow money on like power poles, side scan, and the dang tackle monkey.

I got the 8' sig power pole out the way 2 weeks ago lol!

seriously tho, Im pretty sure EoB added his speakers after purchase of his boat, and I THINK they are in boxes, not hard mounted in the hull. great setup. sounds good too.

I have speakers in my boat, but dont hardly listen to them while im fishing, unless its the mcdonalds or something to hear for the weights of fish be weighed in. And i would be leary about an amp cause it will draw on your battery pretty bad.
