this is gross but I saw the post and had to respond. the WEIRDEST thing happened to me one day while fishing white rock lake. I was with my dad, and for some unknown reason I thought to myself "I wouldn't be surprised if I drug up a condom out of this (dirty) lake." I swear on my kids the next cast my crank bait comes up with a freakin condom on the hook!!! is that crazy or what!!! what are the odds of me having that thought and it happening on the next cast?!?!?

Maybe if you shed a few pounds the trolling wouldnt cavitate all the time. Just Sayin. It would benefit us all

Caught a Green Bay hat at Athens the day before the Superbowl this February and then they won...coincidence...I think not. Plus caught a 7lber that day.

Also took my boat out at Ray Hubbard for a test ride after getting it worked on. Threw a dropshot for a few by the marina and snagged someones line who had broken off...5lb channel cat.

Also hooked a few mussels in my day on crankbaits and dropshot weights.

Ive snagged enough junk to compete against Sanford and Son.

we shocked a beaver years ago w tpwd during a survey, didnt ever know they could jump that high out of the water...

My little brother... snagged him in the ear when we were little.

He reminds me of that every 4th of July when we meet up to fish.

Caught a lawn chair once. Everytime I would pull on it it would fight back. Thought I had a monster carp or catfish on.

The weirdest thing I have caught was a dead pit bull at Cedar Creek off some rip rap.

The most awesome thing I have caught was a 6 lb. Bass in a tournament while flipping a baby brush hog trying to snag a Sexy Shad Series 5 crank. It was an extremely windy day and I can only assume that that bass followed that lure for quite some time before feeling threatened by my bait.

Caught an open umbrella once.

In case you don't know, when hooked, the elusive umbrella swims quickly side to side, shakes it's head like a world record bass, and pulls back if you give any slack. It will also occasionally roll to create a boil and barely break the surface using the tips of its "arms" to look like a huge dorsal fin in an attempt to induce a heart-attack in the angler that has hooked it.
