Hey guys I am a diehard Finesse fisherman and use 8 pound flouro on all my finesse setups, I was wondering if I used some of the new braid on the market today if it would generate the same amount of bites using a low poundage braid. If any of y'all throw a shaky on braid let me know some of yallss experiences

Thanks, Dustin

I do, but I use about a 8-9' leader of fluoro.

I've caught plenty of good fish on a shaky head on the end of 50 lb. braid.

same here. I don't buy into that "fish can see braid" jibberish. I stopped using a leader long ago and I catch MORE fish.

Im the guy that thinks about things to much and didn't know if I would get as many bites with the braid, Ive been catching alot of fish at fork with the 8 pound flouro but also have been playing tug of war with fish in brushpiles that have been sawing that Lil line in half, just thought braid would be better for this

#10 is plenty strong.Shakey heads use light wire hooks so they penetrate with less force.I use a MH rod and have boat flipped fish up to 3 lbs. with that power pro.

I guess I could use a leader but I'm having problems with the fish wrapping me and causing massive abrasion or break offs, I'm trying to find a way to stop this from happening so much,

Andy what pound leader was he using for leader
