Lake is still fishing well, and should get better. Shad are still semi-easy to catch in water 4-12ft...

Remember, on this tourny channel cats can make a big difference...just because big blues have been caught recently, doesn't mean any will be caught at tourny time.

I am going to try and make it out there.....I have plans that evening but I will probably go to the lake for a while. Not sure if I will fish, but I am going to try. I may need to find a fishing partner or 2.

As for Highview, the Corps closed the park, but the boat ramp and marina are still open and available to use. That means the only folks that will be out there will be the tournament fishermen and some marina customers. No campers or swimmers or day use folks hangin' around. This means we'll have plenty of parking and should be an easy launch. The ramp there is 3 lanes I believe.

thats weird, we used the middle ramps last week and didn't have a problem launching the 24ft'er...

Hope they have one open in a couple weeks.
