Planning trip to Fork for a few days soon and looking for the following:

1. Well lit and either attended or recorded so that my electronics don't disappear overnight.
2. Reasonable ramp condition.
3. Fairly easy shot to get to open water near the main Cainey points.

Of course all the poles will be removed at night.

Any ideas?

If you don't want yer stuff to disappear, take it all in the room with ya, electronics included! The thieves steal because it's convenient!

That being said, I believe that all of the establishments have had their problems with the thievin' schmucks!

You can't go wrong with Lake Fork Marina, Oak Ridge, or The Park.

Yep, our ramp is out. The Cove with our slips is currently only 1.5-2ft deep...which is suitable for launching, but with all the power loading that took place it made one heck of a hole and sand bar behind it. I think it was fixed a total of twice before it got too low.

Trying to talk the family into fixing our RV ramp that dumps out more main lake and into deeper water...but after spending money on dredging, dozer, dirt work, and redoing our main ramp and our slow season approaching...we may just get some rain.

I only stay at one place when I go to fork and thats LFM. I have never had my stuff messed with and always feel comfortable when I am there.

Attended or recorded: None that I know of have that.
Reasonable Ramps: Popes and Mustang were good last weekend, and the public ramp at 17 and 515 was still useable.
Once you get in the water, main Cainey points are in the middle of the lake so it's not far from most any launch. Closest would be Minnow Bucket area, but I don't use that side of the lake to launch...For convienience, and service if I was looking for a place to stay, Lake Fork Marina is where I'd go.

If you don't want your stuff stolen then take the ten minutes to put it in the hotel room!!!!

It is a simple problem to fix.
