I was out there again last night and the center 2 ramps are still blocked off.

I hope we get some of this rain!

This morning we didnt get much rain in Ferris but. Lake waxahatchi was getting a good flood rain. Water standing in fields and water in creeks, that waxahatchi creek flows into Bardwell maybe it will raise the lake leval a bit. We went to Bardwell yesterday. (not pulling the boat) It didnt look so bad, especially for small boats, mustang park was closed. love park looked accesable (maybe). but didnt check ramp depth. water is still over concrete ramp, dont know how far down you can go to hit the edge. But I could launch. my boat.It just needs to be somewhere near the water and we can push it off into the water, and easly get it back on a trailer.(14 foot lone star.

Well guys...it's time to start thinking about prefishing for this tourny. Fishing is good right now and it should get better.

I'm hoping the NTTC guys will fish this one.

I'm still looking forward to the tourny,will be prefishing this weekend,I do have one question,how many rods per person?

If I recall correctly, last time out we did 5 per person. I only own 3, so that won't be a problem for me.

seems like we were going to change that to 10...but that just might be my old age showing up.

You're right Salsa, it was 10 per boat. Some of the guys with the smaller boats don't have room for a ton of rigs, so it seems like it would be fair to cap it at 10.

We are adding one angler on our boat...there will be 3 of us.

Is this tourney part of an organization? I enjoyed my first one last weekend w/nttc on lewisville (team Shipes).

nope, no organization...just a group of catfishermen having fun. Great setting too, weigh-in is at marina over water, tons of bbq and great story telling. Def a fun atmosphere w/ everyone tying up their boats around the marina and pulling out there fish.

Gettin' close guys. 9 days away. I'll try to get out there this weekend and check the ramp situation. As far as I know, Highview has two of the four lanes still open.

I was there Saturday night, the ramp has four lanes and the CENTER two were blocked off.
But that was before the rain----

Has bardwell come up at all since the rains any one know?
